Tip Piper of Hillbilly Vittles
Ingredients
- 1 ½ Gal Water
- ½ C Salt – Kosher
- ½ C Dark Brown Sugar
- 2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 2 tsp Onion Powder
- 2 tsp Cajun Spice (Tony Chachere’s)
- 2 tsp Celery Seed
Instructions
- Mix all together in 5 gallon Igloo cooler
- Place frozen bird in brine and thaw.
- or, place thawed bird in brine for min 12 hours
- This yields enough to submerge a 12lb bird in a 5 gallon Igloo cooler
