Ingredients

  • 2 pounds pickling cucumbers, approximately 7-8
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons pickling salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 6 garlic cloves, peeled and crushed (2 per jar)
  • 3/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper, (1/4 teaspoon per jar)
  • 3 teaspoons dill seed per jar, (1 teaspoon per jar)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons black peppercorns, (1/2 teaspoon per jar)

Overnight Bread and Butter Pickles

The perfect mix of sweet and salty pickles that hold a nice crunch and made overnight in the refrigerator.

Ingredients
  • 4 to 6 pickling cucumbers
  • 1 sweet onion
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp mustard seed
  • 1/2 tsp celery seed
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric
  • 1 1/2 cups apple cider vinegar
